The paranormal war that engulfed New Orleans seven years ago is over. But the battle for the city is just beginning . . .

Claire Connolly is a Sensitive, infected with magic when the Veil that divides humanity from the world beyond fell. Magic can easily consume and destroy a Sensitive, and if Claire’s secret is discovered she’ll be locked into the walled district of Devil’s Isle along with every other Paranormal left in the city.

Bounty hunter Liam Quinn discovered Claire’s secret, but refused to turn her in. Together they saved New Orleans from the resurgence of magic that nearly destroyed it. But now a dangerous cult is on the rise, and it will take both Claire and Liam—and magical allies within Devil’s Isle’s towering walls—to defeat the occult threat before magic corrupts them both...

The Sight has kind of left me in a little shock! It was such a great read and I could feel the story building up, but I wasn't prepared for what was coming! It was intense, the passion was growing between Claire and Liam, and the ending was explosive! My jaw hit the floor and I want the next book now!

Claire and Liam were working together once again as the Revellion had risen and was threatening all paranormals and those associated with them. They put themselves in danger multiple times, but were willing to help those who didn't have the resources to help themselves. They needed to protect their family and friends, and with the help of new associates were able to do so. However, the threat continued to rise and I wasn't sure if they would make it out unscathed!

The attraction between Claire and Liam continued to grow throughout the story. I could see them both struggling between what they were thinking and what the heart wanted. They were able to put their feelings aside to focus on the job at hand and the dangers they faced. Claire also learned a bit more about her father and some of the secrets he was hiding. It was heartbreaking to see her deal with those emotions, but I was glad Liam was there to help her when needed.

I love that Claire has strong friendships with Tadji and Gunnar, and can rely on them for anything. Tadji stepped up and helped when Claire needed it, and Gunnar was able to help, especially with his Containment connections. They also had the Delta group, Liam's brother Gavin and other paranormals, willing to do what they can to restore peace once again.

The Sight was a thrilling ride full of action, suspense and grit! All the characters that I have come to love grew throughout the story and faced whatever hurdles they had to. Chloe Neill has hooked me deeply into this world; I love that she has created a heroine that isn't as high profile like the ones in her Chicagoland Vampires series. Claire was just a girl trying to survive after the war, who has the ability to use some magic. After that ending though, I'm going to be on edge waiting to see what happens next!

Two quotes, a funny one and a little bit of sweetness!

This time, I couldn’t keep the tears from falling.
“Your eyes appear to be sweating,” Liam said, and handed me a tissue he’d scrounged from under the seat.
“Shut up,” I said, but I was half smiling when I said it. “And thank you.”
“Anytime, Claire. Anytime.”

“Tonight, you’ll make me feel whole. You’ll keep me safe.”
His groan was deep, elemental, utterly masculine.
“I want to be home,” I said. “And I’m home when I’m with you.”
