Ravage Me by Ryan Michele ~ Audiobook Review & Quote-tastic (@Ryan_Michele)

This is a bit more hard core when it comes to MC romances, but boy did I enjoy it! Princess is one tough woman and I was glad she was able to find her place with Cruz and the MC she grew up in!

After spending the last two years stuck behind bars for a crime she didn’t commit, Harlow ‘Princess’ Gavelson’s time inside has finally come to an end, and she’s ready for revenge. Unfortunately, being the daughter to the Vice President of the Ravage Motorcycle Club cuts into her plans, as orders must be followed. Trying to settle back into this life is proving difficult when the tables are turned and the woman who framed her is out for blood. Lucky for Princess, growing up in a MC has taught her how to hold her own.

After spending years in hell overseas, Donavon ‘Cruz’ came home to lose the very thing he went into hell for, sending him to the darkest moments of his life. Joining Ravage two years ago was his safe haven, and he protects his family at all costs.

When a dark-haired bombshell struts into the club’s shop, he’s caught off guard but immediately knows she’s the one he’d do anything for. Tough as nails, and taking no crap from anyone, he’s captivated by a woman who could handle this life. Trying to meet the needs of the MC business and follow his heart proves to be difficult when the two collide, and lives are at stake.

Can these two find a way to be together, or will the needs of Ravage cost them everything, including their lives?

This is the type of read that I expect from a MC book! The heroine is the type of character that came straight out of SoA! Harlow (Princess) is a tough girl, who takes no crap from anyone and will do anything to protect the club that she had grown up in, as well as her family. Her number one love was her bike, and she showed me just how much she loved it! She was confident, didn't back down from a challenge and is adamant about not hooking up with a brother!

However, she wasn't expecting Cruz, a newly patched brother in the club. He had that alpha male vibe and knew what he wanted as soon as Princess marched back into the club. He claimed her almost immediately and the connection quickly grew between them. I liked seeing them together, Princess fighting against what they had, but ultimately they were stronger together.

There are some hard moments in this read for all the characters, and I loved how graphic and real it felt for me. I know the MC world can be gruesome at times, so I liked that the author wrote in some graphic scenes that had the blood pumping. Princess doesn't stand back on the sidelines, she jumps in there with the guys and protects the club when she can.

This is the first book that I have read by this author, and I know I'll be reading more. She doesn't sugarcoat the story, and there's action from beginning to end. The relationship between Cruz and Princess grew quickly, but didn't feel forced. I also enjoyed the narration from Joe Arden and Tatiana Sokolov, they portrayed the characters perfectly and I felt more attached to the characters listening to their voices. The epilogue left me in a little shock, and I know I need to continue this series!!

I have a short Quote to share today... It sums up everything between Princess and Cruz!

Watching Cruz’s fine ass walk across the room, my body hummed. I loved this man. I loved his loyalty. I loved his honor with the club. I loved how he was such a wonderful dad. I loved how he loved me.
